BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF JOB PURPOSE:

This is like a finance detective. We need somebody to do accurate receipt allocations, find lost payments, identify unknown payments, match transactions and do recons.
It is also the receipt of payments, prepare journal entries, ensure transaction are correctly processed by our banks and reconciliation of various bank accounts.
There’s general admin stuff that needs to get done as well.

HARD SKILLS:

We have to get serious for a bit. We need:

  • Grade 12 with an accounting degree / diploma.
  • We use Syspro, so Knowledge of this would be an added advantage.
  • 5 years relevant experience.
  • Fluent in English and Afrikaans.

SOFT SKILLS:

  • Patience with investigative skills.
  • Never giving up until the problem is resolved.
  • You need to get on with people and manage the relationships.
  • You will work independently but will be part of a Team.
  • You’ll be in finance, so speed and accuracy is very important; as is attention to detail.
